How To Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for C.A.R.L.! C.A.R.L. is a volunteer-based organization. This means volunteers are an important part of our programs, and the dogs appreciate any helping hand. Please follow these steps to begin your adventure volunteering: 1. Fill out an online VOLUNTEER APPLICATION. 2. Attend a VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION.

C.A.R.L. Boutique Thrift Store Help sort and display donations, test working condition of items and help keep the store and items for sale clean and orderly.

Adoptions Adoption Center, Mobile Events, Private Companies, C.A.R.L.'s Pet Care Center & Foster Care

Direct Dog Care Walking, Transportation, Playgroups, Socialization, C.A.R.L. Off-Site Training Program, Washing & Grooming, Special Needs & Training

Facility Support Clean Up Days, Maintenance & Repair, Dishwashing, Landscaping, Painting & Vehicle Maintenance

Outreach / Community Support
Outreach : Publicity, Photography, Videography, Social Media, Newsletter, Advertising, Rescue & Shelter Liaison

Important Information

  • Volunteers must be 18 years or older to have direct contact with out dogs, due to insurance policy rules.
