The Citrus Glen Elementary children are AMAZING! The 100th Day of School Donation Drive for Canine Adoption and Rescue League – CARL was a huge success!
I attended an assembly for the donation presentation. What they collected was overwhelmingly awesome.
-over 200 collars
-over 100 blankets
-other items
-$700
We (older kids in the school and I) packed it all in my car. When we were done I couldn’t see out of my rearview mirror. The formerly empty back of a Subaru Outback and front seat was filled floor to ceiling with goodies. I drove, very slowly and carefully, to the kennel and unloaded. I enjoyed a great time with the kids-they are all so eager to share stories. Their outlook on life is so concrete.
